Uploading a Sample Project

To enhance your understanding of the user interface, we will begin by uploading a sample project. This step allows you to view key UI elements in context, including columns, status, and other features that will be useful when working with your own projects.

Upload a Sample Project

  1. Locate the dark blue ZIP upload icon below the profile section.

  2. Hover over it to reveal the Migrate text, then click to continue.

  3. Upload a sample ZIP file of your TIBCO® project from your local directory using the upload widget.

  4. Click Migrate to initiate the upload and processing of the project.

  5. Once the upload is complete, you will receive message indicating the successful upload of the project.

Processing Status

  • Once the processing begins, the homepage will display the project in the “New” state, which will change to “In Progress” as soon as processing starts, typically very quickly. The project will be processed by multiple accelerators, each designed to handle specific aspects of the TIBCO project migration.

  • The Accelerator Status column shows the processing status of each accelerator using its respective icon.

  • The order of icons is:

    • Kafka Configuration Generator (simply referred to as Kafka® or Kafka Config) Kafka Config Icon
    • Schema Converter (simply referred to as Schema or “Schema ➜ Avro”) XSD Icon
    • XSLT Converter (simply referred to as XSLT) XSLT Icon
    • Connector Configuration Generator (simply referred to as Connector or Connector Config) Connector Config Icon
    • Mapping Documents Generator (simply referred to as Mapping Docs) Mapping Docs Icon
    • API Code Generator (simply referred to as API or API Code) API Code Generator Icon
    • Orchestration Flow Generator (simply referred to as Orchestrator or Orchestration) Orchestrator Icon

  • The circular colored bar around the accelerator icon indicates its processing status.

    • Status Indicators:

    Status Indicators

  • Hovering over an icon slightly enlarges it and displays:

    • The simplified name of the accelerator (e.g., “Kafka”, “Schema”, etc.).
    • The conversion rate, which is calculated as the percentage of successfully converted files out of the total files in the input project.
